Haircut?
So I have scheduled an appointment to get my hair cut... Its with Tori whom I went to highschool with. She works at Wink Salon at hiltop. Pretty excited. I'm thinking of just letting her do something sweet like leave it up to her mostly? As long as its not suuuuper short. My hair is one of the longest its ever been. It was MAYBE longer when I was in 9th grade. Goes down to my mid back. It just looks real ragged and my hair is really fine so when it gets this long it starts to look scraggly unless I put alot of effort into styling it. My bangs are also an obnoxious length always in my eyes. They are like down to my upper lip so ALMOST grown out. But I'll probably get her to cut them shorter again. So I was looking for ideas I like these ...
I still don't know what I want so I will probably leave most of it in Tori's hands.
On another note. I get to go get my teeth cleaned at the dentist tomorrow. I guess I am a weirdo but I LOVE getting my teeth cleaned. HAHA. Also to look forward to Ashley and I are going to Harry Potter on Wed after work. Thursday is my haircut. Saturday I am going with my mom, gma and Joni to this awesome craft show at the park at the great neck rec center. then that afternoon/night I am driving up to RVA to hangout with Casie, and then Sunday Brunch with Beth and what sounds like a shit ton of other people. I'm gonna try and see David sunday too before I drive back to VB. So all in all I am pretty stoked. I need to make sure I am well rested for Sat night so I can stay up late and go out! A real feat for me whose bedtime is like 10:30....
Pretty stoked about it all. And next weekend Zach and I are painting the living room, dining room and hall. the house will be one step closer to looking completely awesome!

Nothin new here
So not much has been going on lately. We've finally gotten rid of the giant ugly entertainment center, and our TV stand is now in its place with Zach's 42" TV. The wall looks sooooo bare now. It is a major upgrade from what was there before.
Our cruise is a month away! SOOO exciting! When we are gone Zach is gonna hook up all the ridiculously retarded surround sound and put in his 52 " TV and wall mount it. Then it will be complete home theater system. Completely unnecessary.
Shea's birthday was yesterday we all got together at my moms house. It was loads of fun. Joey and Kyla are in town til Sat morning. Always nice seeing them! Dinner at my Grandma's house tonight and I will probably try and do something with them tomorrow since I am not working!
Here's some pictures Joni sent me from last night. I haven't uploaded any of my pictures yet...
Trying on my old glasses from like 4th grade
Totem pole!
I'll probably have some more good ones after I look at my camera...
I am also really looking forward to So You Think You Can Dance tonight, its the 99th episode and Ellen is going to be a guest judge I think? So it is bound to be funny.
Back to another day of Zero customers and a million games of Tetris and Rockem Blocks.

texts from last night.
First off. HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dearest cousin Ashley!
So looking for amusement lately... two things so far have made my time at work more awesome,
the first being my old LJ as we used to call it. or Livejournal. Nothing is better than reading shit from high school. The older the entry's the better. Seriously I wrote some weird shit! hahahaha
.
The other thing keeping me amused is texts from last night ... So funny.
This is my favorite so far
(571): non applicator tampons are so hard to put in when your drunk. i fingered myself for 10 minutes and forgot what i was trying to do.
hahahah!
Harry Potter tonight SOOOO STOKED! So I need to finish the last 100 pages or so today....
Bleh I have to call and get competitor pricing. GAY. Oh well.

Spinach fettucini with pine nuts.
So I made this last night with stuff I had laying around. I used spinach fettucini, I also toasted some pine nuts and sauted some baby spinach in butter and added some fresh garlic. I used bertolli alfedo sauce and topped it off with fresh parmesan cheese. It actually turned out pretty tasty! I think it would be good with some chicken or shrimp with it... maybe next time,

Ohio
So I do not remember the other reunions sucking. They do only happen once every 5 years so I felt obligated to go... But this one SUCKED.
Maybe it would have been better if more of my family had gone. I'm not sure. But I feel like the drive and 1500 miles put on my car was NOT worth it. And it was a waste of 2 days off work. Pretty dissapointing. My fourth of July was spent exploring a Barn and driving around aimlessly through what was just farm after farm hoping to come across something to do ( we didn't.) We also did not see any fireworks.
The reunion itself wasn't much fun either. My grandma was in a bad mood and they left early. My mom, Shea, and I knew virtually noone. It sucked. We spent another night hanging out in the hotel, but only after there was this whole fiasco with them checking us out and saying we hadn't paid for our last night there.
The only other real excitement other than shea taking a butt picture under a sign saying Butt Hut. Was finding a baby rat in my car. which I cried over because it was still alive and I had to leave it to die. The next day my mom and Shea found 5 more, but didn't tell me until we were back in VA. I hope they survived. The mother must have travelled in the car too since they were still alive Sunday. and I know they came from my house since I've seen rats there alot lately.
Maybe I feel real disappointed about it since EVERYONE I know had an awesome weekend, while mine was completely rotten. But I really TRIED to make the best of it, it just didn't work out too well.
There were SOME funny things like the weird man sitting on this random boulder in the parking lot which wasn't there the first day. Then him walking backwards past our window. It doesn't sound as funny described but when it happened it was hillarious.
The people in upper sandusky, OH and the surrounding areas are just pretty bizzare. We did NOT fit in. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. The style is wretched and It is just a completely different way of life. Seeing amish people riding down the road on horse drawn carts is just WEIRD. And the walmart is the biggest thing within like 60 miles. Or more. who knows.
One of my second cousins has hit 19 deer. W T F. Its serious farmers and country bumpkins. And thats basically it. I could never live there. I would be driven insane. I guess thats enough about kirby and upper sandusky, OH.
I hope I cheer up for the rest of the week. Right now I am feeling slightly Bitter.
